I have been in The Colony since 1988. I built my first house here in 1990 and
built my current house in 1999.
My wife, Tamara and
I live in the Legends with our 3
children that attend The Colony High School. My oldest son is married with 2
children and lives and works in Oklahoma City, OK. As a boy, I grew up and went to school in Oklahoma City, Ok. I attended the University of Central
Oklahoma, in Edmond, OK, graduating with honors and earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political
Science. Additional post graduate studies were
done at the University of Central Oklahoma and
the University of North Texas in Political and Computer Science. I served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps
from 1975 to 1980 receiving an
Honorable Discharge with the rank of Sergeant (E-5). My Military Occupational Specialty was Disbursing Clerk, responsible for the
paying of 1st Battalion/ 5th Marines/ 1st
MarDiv. Later, I served as the Assistant
Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (ANCOIC) of
a Marine Security Guard Detachment at the Embassies in Accra, Ghana, W. Africa and Bonn, W. Germany. I have worked for Fidelity National Information
Services for the last 12 years, as a Business Analyst. I support one of the
leading bank software applications on the market today. For six years I served as the City Councilman representing Place 3, with my first term beginning in 2002. My council peers elected me as Mayor Pro-Tem for three terms from 2003 to 2005. My second term as the representative for Place 3 began in 2005. As the current Commander of American Legion Post 21 here in The Colony, we have won awards within the Legion as one of the fasting growing Posts in Texas. During this last year the Post has added a Sons of the Legion Squadron and an Auxiliary Unit. I am also a charter member of the American Legion Riders Unit. I ask you for your support and Vote on May 9th to return
